Andy’s Man Club Strengthens Their Position After Urban Network Donation

Urban Network is proud to continue to support men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner throughout 2022. Andy’s Man Club is a phenomenal charity which aims to reduce male suicide by providing non-judgmental spaces for men to talk about their lives and challenges.

In March 2022, Urban Network donated £5000 to the charity, and we’re pleased to provide you with a further update on the incredible work they have been doing since then.

Andy’s Man Club recently opened their 110th nationwide group, in Tadcaster in North Yorkshire, and since July 2022, other groups have been opened in Woking, Portsmouth, Bradford South, Kilsyth, Methil, Cambridge and Tadcaster. Plans are in place to open four more groups before the end of 2022.

The positive news continues for Andy’s Man Club as they have taken on seven members of staff, with another member of staff due to be recruited soon. This has continued to improve their coverage of their groups nationwide, with a particular focus on the East of England and Scotland.

Oliver Vikse, Project Development Champion of Andy’s Man Club said: “Thanks to Urban Network for their continued support of ANDYSMANCLUB – this has massively influenced our growth as a charity in 2022. We have opened a number of new groups in the South and also strengthened our staff team, elevating volunteers into permanent and temporary positions.”
