Keeping a continued eye on the security that is deployed in your systems.

Urban Network can perform tests on your systems to ensure that systems are secure, and your business is conforming to best practice, including penetration testing and intrusion testing, however the very basic elements of patching endpoints with vendor security patching, and ensuring antivirus is up to date is the often overlooked start point.

Our Sentinel monitoring software can cover these elements of the network, and coupled with one of our recommended Enterprise Firewalls, the basics are covered.

To add layers of additional security, Urban Network can liaise with you to ensure that there are comprehensive policies in place for password control, access control and network housekeeping and importantly remote access and BYOD policies. We can look at the current implementations of any other facet of your network, and give advice on industry best practices to ensure your business is sufficiently covering your risk.

Overcome cyber threats

Ransomware

Is a cyber attack that will typically encrypt and lock out access to your files, holding them to ransom. The files will often still be there and may not be corrupted, but you lose all access to them.

Phishing

Phishing attacks are designed to fool users into unwittingly sharing sensitive information, such as login credentials or financial details, by tricking them often by well masked emails.

Denial of Service (DoS)

A DoS or DDoS attack is designed to overwhelm system resources - preventing you from working normally or to take down defences permitting easier access for hackers to your sensitive data.

Malware

Malware is a broad-term for a whole host of malicious software that will install itself onto your PC and unknowingly spread across your network. The software is designed to corrupt, delete or steal your data.

Take a First Step to become Cyber Secure

It is now becoming more important than ever to ensure your business is protected and certified against the cyber risks. As a Gold IASME certified body, Urban Network is fully qualified to help your business achieve security compliance with the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials Scheme.

The certification requires the completion of a self-assessment questionnaire. Before you embark on a live assessment, we offer exclusive FREE access to the Cyber Essentials Questionnaire Portal for a better preparation of your application.

The Assessment Portal will:

  • Provide a list of technical questions you will be asked to complete once you apply for the certification
  • Help you to better understand the five key controls and its requirement
  • Monitor your progress towards compliance
